Successful Implementation of development projects, especially internationally funded projects require sound financial management skills. In many cases, those entrusted with financial management of internationally funded projects needs to upgrade their skills. Therefore they contend with predetermined and possibly ambitious project schedules with substantial investment with budgets in absence of result-based financial management tools and systems indispensable for financial decision making, financial control of project progress and achievement of project performance and delivery parameters.
